just finished mugging geog, i rock okay, mugged the whole thing in 1.5 hours x)


tomorrow will be my geog paper, 3rd paper of the entire end of year CT, and 2nd day of the eoys, 4 more days (including tomorrow) and i'll be free! free like a bird =)


quite tired now, so i'll go to sleep soon, but before i go sleep, i would like to address the one of the past post which i've blogged about, the one about finding the meaning in life


i've been thinking about stuff, again, as usual, then one of these days, i suddenly realised the answer to my own question. is it really like what clarence has said, that finding the purpose of life is really purposeless? maybe it is not meant to be found?

however, i disagree, i've thought of this one fine day (i think was yesterday), when this idea suddenly pops into my mind(i think when i was watching this love show or something), that the meaning of life, the reason to live, is nothing but love. you see, people come to this world, due to the effects of love (which involved sex of course), and once you're into this world, you're given love, it is the love from your parents that kept you alive and made you grew into what you are, so then, why to we live? we live to repay the love which our parents had given to us, not only that, but also we live to love people, and be loved. this is why most people in this world cant stand loneliness because they have no one to love and dun feel loved, love is an crucial part of one's life, in fact, life is no longer life without love.

love comes in many forms, firstly, friendship love, this is where friends come in, everyone need friends, to share joy and laughter, they make our lives meaningful and fulfilled, you would protect a close friend out of love, and so would he/she protect you, maybe even in life threatening situations, in a sense, it is this love which drives people on. secondly, there's even a stronger love, which is romantic love, the love between the two different genders, and this love is even stronger as there are people who love each other so much that they cant live without each other, this love literally gives reasons to people to live. and lastly, family love, this love is the greatest of all, as it's given unconditionally, and it'll take you a life time to repay, this is the love that started life, after you get married, romantic love would be transformed into family love, you 'll love your wife/husband, then your children.

we study hard not only for ourselves, but it is also due to the obligations to repay our parent's love, and therefore we study hard because they asked us to. after we study, we work hard, this is also out of the love that you would want your family to live a better life, so basically, your life is driven by love, and it is love that gives you importance, that gives you a purpose, and gives you a goal. if you do not love others, then there's still the self-love where you would cherish yourself, and make life better for yourself, which is also another reason to live and work.

people commit suicide mainly because they're out of love, they have no one to love and they've lost their importance, this is why you see teenagers jumping down buildings because their girlfriends dumped them or something.


there are also people who claims that they live for a religion, for a god. but likewise, they're living for the love of the god which they have, so in my opnion, still, they're living and driven by love.


and in life, we should really cherish those we love, and those who loves us, afterall, that's what that we're in this world for, that's what differentiates us from plain animals, and in turn, we'll be able to cherish life and live a purposeful life =) we're born into this world to love people, not only refering to BGR that kind, but between people, between friends, and by doing that, we can then enjoy life and not be depressed or whatever the whole day long xp

and so yah, there is a purpose and meaning to life, as well as why we live, afterall =)

haha, this is really a long post, and what i've stated in the above is generally applicable to the majority, although in some personal cases whatever i've said doesn't really apply, but generally i think it's true bah, and it's purely my opinion and my feeling, you're free to disagree =)
